2003-08-25 :: Join Us in the Teacher's Lounge.

We need reviewers!

Thats right, kids. You, too, can be a reviewer for Ms. Lovejoys Reviews!
Maybe.

You see, though we desperately need more reviewers, and really hope that youll join us, we also have rather strict criteria for a potential viewer to meet. This does NOT mean that other folks cant be excellent reviewersit simply means that we, as a review site, have a very specific (and, I believe, unique) style, and need our reviewers to fit that.
Basically, we ask that our reviewers have a college-level education (which is, admittedly, rather vague) and a clear understanding of how to teach through the reviewing process. They should be familiar with our expectations for a good diary, and with our grading system. Obviously, they should also have a strong command of the English languageand spell checker!

I encourageno, beg anyone who thinks they fit these parameters to APPLY! We dont demand that you do any set number of reviews per week (which, I believe, guarantees shoddy, rushed work), only that you complete a review within 2 days of signing up for it. (Yeah, most of our reviewers havent been keeping that rule recently. *glares* Were trying to improve, I promise.)

SOhow does one apply? Thats easy enoughpick one of the unassigned reviews from our pending list (one that doesnt have a name after it) and write a review! Be sure to use our formatyou should read through a bunch of reviews to get a firm grip on what were looking for.
Then, email your sample review to us: [email protected]- if we like it, well print it, and youre on board!
If we dont accept it, of course, that doesnt mean you dont kick ass. It just means youre not a dominatrix in teachers clothing. Which may not be such a bad thing.

Good luckand hope to see you on our roster soon!
