Ravyne Speaks

Style
This layout is probably one of the more efficient set-ups Ive seen. In fact, this layout is a paradigm of quantity in convenience. Ravyne has tons of information to browse, so it is very impressive it is so well organized and easily accessed. I get a feel that the girl lying in the picture is the one whispering the words I am reading, which only adds to the experiences that is Ravyne Speaks. The text color contrasts well with the background, as do the link highlights. I hate it when you cant tell when something is a link or just bold. No worries here. I like how the links on the right balance well with the content of the entry to the right, especially with the black box around the text. Just very pleasing. Im always impressed with people who can do drop-down menus. This is a skill quite beyond my level, and Ravyne has hers organized better than a lot of the porn sites a friend of mine visits sometimes.

Substance
Ravyne is able to convey a large amount of ideas clearly or one particular detail to near-perfection. Again, the amount of information is impressive, if not a little intimidating. She has a lot of honesty and openness in every entry, particularly the ones about herself. There is no bullcrap or frills, just open truth from another human being. If you are like me, then you will enjoy things like the recipes. Not that I cook, but it is nice to know that somewhere out there is someone who can. The updates are frequent, usually a couple a day, sometimes more, sometimes less. If you like to really get to know who you are reading, Ravyne is for you. There are 276 numbered things, ABCs, If I were and even more random things. If you stay around long enough, you start to wonder where Ravyne ends and you begin. I know Im only supposed to do this particular diary, but I have to plug her three other ones. They deal with different aspects of this young lady. Needless to say, Im impressed. If you find yourself impressed, do not worry. Ravyne has multiple ways of contacting her, so Im sure shed love to hear from anyone.

Suggestions
Right. Umwell, Im pretty much happy with this diary. All the links on the right, however convenient, are a little rough on the eyes. There is a lot of blinking and rainbows flashing around that sort of distract ones eyes, but it is better than them not being there at all.
I know this is sort of picky, but the amount of information Ravyne has here almost makes the reader hesitant to get into her, because there is so much to go through to catch up. I know we encourage being "regular", but honestly it really can be intimidating, especially to newcomers.
